Patient Safety Message

The Orthopaedic & Fracture Clinic takes the safety and well-being of its patients, visitors and staff seriously. We want to reassure you that we have taken the recommended precautions to make it safe to come to The Orthopaedic & Fracture Clinic for your upcoming appointments and care. The below processes have been put in place for the safety of patients, visitors and staff.

Masking: Masking within OFC is optional for patients, visitors, and staff. If you would like your caregiver to wear a mask, please notify the front desk staff when checking in. OFC recognizes that staff and patients may have medical conditions which require masking for protection, or they may choose to continue masking at their discretion.

Screening: When you arrive for your appointment, our staff are greeting patients/visitors and screening for COVID-19 symptoms prior to appointments. All OFC staff members are going through a similar screening process on a daily basis.

Appointments: OFC is asking patients that have tested positive for COVID-19, are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, sore throat, headache, gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea), new loss of taste or smell, muscle body aches or runny nose/congestion), or have been in close contact with anyone with COVID-19 or COVID-19 symptoms to please call and reschedule your appointment(s).

Telehealth: OFC has implemented Telehealth (video appointment) as a way for you to be seen by your provider without coming to the office. Telehealth allows you to be evaluated through real-time audio/video communication with your care provider from the comfort of your home. All you need is a tablet, smartphone (Apple or Android) or any other internet-connected computer or device with the camera and microphone enabled. We offer Telehealth visits for a wide variety of orthopedic needs. Your provider will help determine if Telehealth is appropriate for you.

If you have questions regarding your care or upcoming appointment, please call (507) 386-6600.
